You can train attractiveness and a sexy appearance. A muscular body increases your self-esteem and your attractiveness to women. As a scientific study shows, the strongest men are the most attractive in all samples. Of course, you also benefit enormously from a trained body in terms of health. But it’s not just the overall package that counts: There are muscles that women find particularly attractive. And no, the six-pack is not in first place. In a survey, more than 1,000 women have told us which men’s muscles they find particularly sexy. Are you ready for the ranking of the hottest muscle parts?

Rank 1: Broad shoulders in men are highly attractive

It couldn’t be clearer: 63% of the women surveyed love broad shoulders. 29% like them round and 25% are particularly keen on strong, visible deltoids. For only 7% do shoulders not necessarily have to be broad. It’s no surprise that trained shoulder muscles go down so well with women. After all, they are considered the muscles of love and fight. Sounds like a contradiction, but it’s not, because: Broad shoulders offer a lot of space to lean on, convey security and protection. Not that women today are still dependent on the strong man at their side, but broad shoulders are still sexy and beautiful to look at. Rank 2: A well-trained foundation is attractive

Athletic women want a man who is not only strong, but also fit. Well-trained legs and firm calves are definitely part of the package. That’s what 54% of the women in our survey want, and only 6% don’t care about well-toned legs. Tight, however, does not necessarily mean wide. Defined calves are much more important for 20%. That’s not surprising: after all, what’s the point of a strong upper body if your legs can’t support it? And admittedly, a wide cross on thin legs looks pretty disproportionate and anything but sexy. Rank 3: A strong V-shape works wonders

When shoulders and hips form a V, it looks particularly masculine and increases your attractiveness to women. 49% of women therefore want exactly this shape. The origin of the desire for a muscular backside in men lies in evolution. When men had to protect their sweethearts from wild animals, a broad back was the best indicator that he could do it easily. And it has persisted to this day. 30% of women also like to see a lot of small muscles on a man’s back. Only 17% don’t care how the back looks. These back exercises train it even without equipment.

Rank 4: The buttocks must be firm and crunchy

48% of women prefer a tight butt on a man. 38% find especially the lateral hollows sexy. Psychology even has an explanation for this: for women, the butt is an indication of your overall physical shape. They immediately check it out by looking at your backside. If it’s firm, women assume it’s an ambitious guy. And it’s no secret that they like guys like that.

According to a study in the journal Surgical and Radiologic Anatomy, the most attractive waist-to-hip ratio of the male buttocks is 0.85 from the rear view. While a protruding butt seems to be the beauty ideal of the hour for women, only 13 percent of the women surveyed said that their beloved’s butt could be a bit bigger. So don’t sit too much on your four letters, but do squats and the like regularly for a tight butt and do your running laps.

All those who have been working on their six-pack for ages and just can’t see it can breathe a sigh of relief. It’s not that important. 40 % of the female participants in the study are basically interested in a man’s six-pack. But 38% of the women don’t care about a six-pack as long as the abdomen is firm. The ladies are also divided when it comes to side muscles. 20% plead for laterally protruding abdominal muscles, for 11% they even look like bulges.

Many women would rather have a healthy, fit man at their side, with whom they can maintain an active lifestyle, but also feast or enjoy a drink. Rank 6: Capable men have strong arms

Women want a man who can grip. A sign of that? Clearly: strong, defined arms. Whether biceps, triceps or forearms: women agree that strong arms are attractive. 39% pay attention to strong, well-groomed hands and fingers. For 37%, defined arms without protruding veins are particularly attractive and 37% chose the biceps as their favorite muscle. For women, strong arms mean: you can really do anything. Whether it’s building a house, playing tennis with her or carrying her around on your hands.

Rank 7: A pronounced tank arrives

Women love your chest as much as you covet the female torso. Exactly what your chest should look like, however, is where opinions differ: 38% of women love protruding pecs with two distinct bulges. 37%, on the other hand, prefer their breasts to be flat and firm. For 27%, the pectoral muscle can’t be wide enough. But: 24 % do not want breasts. This helps against man boobs.
